Notes
The first step is breaking gandalf's restriction and powering up his worse ability to raise the floor. The first is accomplished but adding a significant amount of flicker effects which "reset" him prior to his final clause. Passive options are best. The latter is achieved by the acceleration, which is both picked with this in mind and the best options to get a 5 drop out ahead of time. The do not untap artifacts are particularly good at this role, and also ensure that the recast from top of library is less of a deficit. A number of the flicker effects can also "reset" these as sudo rituals. With so many rocks that make 2-3 mana and an emphasis on cheap instant and sorceries, the isochron scepter/dramatic reversal combo is an easy core add. This takes up 18 spots plus Gandalf. I'll split the deck into 33 lands or less if possible that can't be cycled or used as a spell, 33 cards that draw cards, and 33 non cantriping action items, which this 18 takes a goodly amount of. Im going to build out some packages from her and see where I want to go with the legendary wizard. If I achieve my goal, should be fun spell caster deck at a similar power level to grismold, casual but not lame duck.
3-5 lands off for a 50/50 permanent spell mix. May need to swap metallurgic summonings, shark typhoon, and trail of evidence for land. In any case, I get 37 other instant and sorceries to play with. I have 5-6 of the card draw spells accounted for, meaning I need 27-28 cantrips or better. That leaves about 10 for interaction and other effects.
