Notes
 
The inspiration is U/G crush. Surge is way easier to enable in modern with stuff like gitaxian probe and engineered explosives, and the potential to quicken crush is awesome. Eternal witness and crush puts the loop starting at 8 mana.

In brainstorming I came across this little engine: Snapcaster mage, Eternal witness, pulse of murasa, grapple with the past, gifts ungiven. Combine that with mass bounce and you virtually play with your deck, hand, and graveyard interchangeably.

With the pulse and just blue green, no real need for fetches or shock lands, meaning the life total is also healthier in general.

Building in value seems good, like mystic snake and thug tusk, as well as obstinate baloth.

Deck is mana hungry, so need acceleration like sakura or primeval titan. There is a potential for a land destruction element, through acid-moss, primordial, terastadon, beast within, squelch, and sundering titan. Speaking of beast within, no downside with bounce, so rapid and swan are good too.

I wonder if tempo plays are good, like remand and spell stutter sprite.

Certainly traverse, oath, and serum visions.

Second deck in Summer Series 2018!

Decided to revisit this deck not to force crush, but as a basis for the "tokens for you" deck. There are so many great cards that get completely one sided if you can deal with the tokens they leave behind. Mass bounce is really good for this, and I think interesting in modern. You can also play EE. Hunted horror and thing in the ice are also SWEET! Just got to play around and see which variety gives the most consistency and exploits. Forbidden orchard is also sweet. I'm also wondering if there are any good cards that have etb on your opponents creatures, like a authority of consuls or death greeter or something like that. Exciting!

Well, Rampaging Ferocidon and Tresspasser's curse are totally legal, and those are interesting angle's. The blue hunted is actually really sweet and creates the most creatures that are all 1/1's with no text. With a curse in play that's drain 5.

I've narrowed down the token answer's to the following set. All have different upside, which is why the other answers were cut. These functionally do things and incidentally hose tokens, which is the sweet spot. There is not room for them all, and some require different deck building constraints, so the ideal set and quantity will need be identified.

Thing in the Ice x4 -Requires a density of Instant and Sorceries to be viable, but the best payoff! This card is stand alone good in modern. It wipes all those tokens at no cost, and it can block a 3/3 until it flips. The best part? I can build around the flip with utilizing snap and massacre wurm, and hunted horror also stays on the board! Definitely the best of the bunch.

Massacre Wurm x3 Essentially 6 mana is 6 thousand in modern.
