I had an epiphany in the middle of the night. It occured to me as I was thinking about Devastation tide and recurring it. I was trying to figure out how you could loop any spell, not just cryptics, so that I could tide people out of games. I thought the issue was that I needed another way to bounce lands and draw cards so that I wasn't just stuck in place. It dawned on me that astrolabe being in the deck naturally meant every tide cantriped. So that left the bounce land part, and it hit me. There is a morph card that has a morph cost of returning two Island's to your hand, then it draws two. Any Island, not basic.

Fathom Seer is absolutely busted with Mystic Sanctuary. It's a hundred million times better than any other card draw with it. It's essentially draw 4 for 3. It allows us to loop any spell in the deck repeatedly and still play through. Looping tide and seer goes perpetual. It even can protect the sanctuary at Instant speed! The next step it brought me to is Deathmist raptor. I'l probably have to discard to handsize a bunch, turns the tide lock asymettrical as I'll have a recurrable army that swings through anything. 3/3 deathtouch for 3 means I have more game against creatures, planes walkers, and a real clock now.  A few den protectors offer redundancy (basically the whole deck in a card), and perhaps and Ugein, the ineffable main with all modes being relevant. I have so much incidental card advantage that Into the story is no longer necessary, as is archive trap, and lessens the value of thoughtscour and drown in the loch.  I probably am creating a whole new shell that is no longer dependent on my opponents graveyard, and also has an easier time shifting from my own graveyard. This build would probably play 4 cryptic, and some amount of growth spiral and just have this tide/raptor plan as an endgame.

And this is the tip of the iceberg. Dragonslayer, survivalist, and assasin are considerations, asa re the brine/vesuvan lock. And mastery of the unseen seems like a extremely powerful card in this deck, especially if I put wilderness reclamation in it!
