It's time to end the fun. Let's stop skirting the issue. Magic is broken, it's time to be broken, do broken shit fast and consistently. Proactive Control is so over-powered and possible that free mill spells are just not good enough. The next time I play a modern tournament I'm going to play this suped up version of a control deck.

The recipe is cheap early interaction and enablers, land a wilderness reclamation, then use the cryptic/Sanctuary lock to just win via planeswalkers. You just stop your opponent from ever winning, and can take all the turns. Nexus of fate is still legal. Let's just do that. Mystical teachings is a hell of a drug when it can literally do anything. Mana issues don't matter anymore. Loam, Tamiyo, mystical teachings and mystic sanctuary into nexus of fate is just stupid. Eventually I will take all the turns and throw all the lightning bolts. And if that is not enough, some singletons should give me graveyard free options. GG.
