Notes

I had wanted to do a U/R deck before, but got distracted, and when I looked back to everything I had unused, there it was again. The Training Grounds is doing much of its usual stuff here, but this time it powers Linessa, the Test Subject, and the Mindshrieker (along with a couple of Echo Magi) on the blue side, and everything on the red side as well, including the Gorilla Shaman and the Fallen Ferromancer. The Viral Drakes are particularly nasty with the Ferromancers, if I can get even one Training Grounds down. I can poke for a single red mana (giving a poison counter), then proliferate for a single blue plus one generic each time. The color mix is almost perfectly balanced, and while I have what is for me a moderate creature count at 24, it should be fine with the kinds of control I can manage. The deck has a (1)/13/7/10/9 curve, which gets an acceptable 2.33 average, but it has 4 mana assists and the ability to create so many threats along the way that I am not too concerned.
