I decided to take a couple recent cards for a spin, though not as many as originally planned. This is really centered around the Ajani cards. Gain life, grow, live, kill. Odd to pair the word “survivalist” with white cards, but what can I say? The mana curve is exceedingly low at 11/21/5/3, yielding an average cost of just 2.00. Oddly, this is largely a control deck, with War Priests of Thune to manage enchantments, Divine Offerings to manage artifacts, Farrel’s Mantles to manage creatures, and Linvala to manage abilities. This deck may require some form of cover to keep from have targeting take it out.
