Notes

While I have thrice made G/W ally decks, all with some form of a winning record, the presence of Veteran Warleader prompted me to go there again. Almost every creature is an ally, with only the Birds of Paradise (2) and Elvish Herder (2) being other subtypes. That leaves 31 allies, plus the half dozen I can make with Join the Ranks. I decided that I have enough potential to gain life, as well as the Birds of Paradise, that the inclusion of Phyrexian Metamorph as a means of adding to the count of either Veteran Warleader or Tajuru Warcaller was pretty much a no-brainer. Normally Vastwood Animist would be questionable, but the ability to create additional creatures to boost Veteran Warleader seemed worth it. This is not the cheapest of the now four decks in this class, coming in fractionally less than the worst performer, but the 10/13/7/9/1 curve still gives an acceptable 2.45 average, given the mana acceleration in the deck.
