A successor to In-N-Out and Libra, in some ways, this also seeks to use life as a weapon, along with casting of creatures (opponent) as a threat. As with many decks that have evolved from other decks, there are regulars here, yet it only shares 18 cards with each of its predecessors. A late add of Lingering Souls (one copy only) was warranted by the 16/22/3 (after the add) curve, which averages only 1.68 after the change. This allowed me to cut one land. While there are more black mana symbols than white (26-23), the color balance favors white 19-18, and they are more prevalent at the 1-spot. That encouraged me to balance the basic land.
