Notes

I have not had many cards with heroic, and that has been an impediment to my making a deck based around that mechanic. In looking at the least expensive and most useful of those cards I own, G/W emerged as the color combo winner, so I started looking at how to make it work. Trampling is important, but not so critical that I need it right up front, before things get built to bigger numbers, so I was able to keep the focus on other things. The key here is the use of spells that target multiple creatures, allowing me to get less of a benefit per creature while enabling me to trigger more creatures' abilities. Also important are flashback and rebound, giving me multiple turns to target my creatures with a single spell card. The 23 creatures are a little fewer in number than I traditionally use, but sufficient here, giving additional room for things that target creatures. The 14/14/11/0/1 curve comes out to a rather nice 2.00 average cost.
