Notes

Continuing my pursuit of creature-type decks, I went with snakes, apparently for the first time. Keeping the creature count about at my norm (24 here), I pushed for some of the higher-end legendary snake creatures for their benefits across the creature types included. A couple copies of Triumph of the Hordes are in there in case the opportunity comes up for a single-attack victory on poison counters, but I also dumped all of the creatures that give poison counters by default, preferring to fight more traditionally and with bigger numbers. Boosts are in there to make things punch harder, both from instants and enchantments. Originally I thought I would need mana assists (and I do have some in Orochi Sustainer at the 2-spot), but costs kept dropping until I finished with a 19/12/0/6/2/1 curve that averages a scant 2.08 for a true beatdown deck.
