Notes

I finally ended up doing it: a pure U/G deck. Every card is either multicolor (17), hybrid (19), or artifact (4), and 75% of artifacts produce UG. This means that every colored card triggers Momir Vig, and every colored card triggers Shorecrasher Mimics. Every colored card gets both benefits from Favor of the Overbeing, too. I have offense, defense, artifact destruction, artifact manipulation, +1/+1 counters, and the means to manipulate +1/+1 counters. Frighteningly, if I can power a lot of cheap stuff via Momir Vig, a Novijen can quickly make those numbers grow even more. It is a reasonable 2.38 average on a 5/21/9/4/1 curve. Unless there are issues getting two land, this can take off; after all, Coiling Oracle, Favor of the Overbeing, Shorecrasher Mimic, Slippery Bogle, Sensei’s Divining Top, and Simic Signet are all 1- and 2-spot cards, and there are more besides.
