The name, at first blush, may seem odd for a deck with no blue, but it is a Monty Python reference to The Lady of the Lake, who is an enchantress of sorts. I kept this exceptionally balanced in color, and have 23 creatures to the 17 enchantments, only 2 of which are not auras (I wanted the Aura Gnarlids to get as much of a boost as possible from my side of the table). I limited myself to 2 each on Verduran and Mesa Enchantresses, as going all out risked color issues on early casting and could just pile on the optional draws for little up side. The Hornet Nest works best if I can drop Regeneration on it and make it a threat in defense. While Setessan Oathsworn would have been nice, I elected to go only for a couple of cheaper cards with heroic, as costs and color requirements are critical. Breadth was more important than depth, giving me the flexibility to engage with a variety of effects. While pricey, Sphere of Safety is a natural here, due to the sheer number of enchantments I can get into play. That alone could save me, and I felt it was more important than traditional life gaining. I need to consider adding back some enchantment-seeking cards, but for now I am happy. The 16/10/11/1/2 curve comes in cheaply at 2.08, and I don't really mind that I eschewed mana acceleration, as I should be able to get almost anything by turn 4.
