I wanted to go mono white double strike, but I needed to include things for first strike as well, and then some artifacts, which morphed into yet another bouncy-creature equipment deck. While there are some clear similarities with The Smithy, this one does not starts with equipment as a focus, so it is not hobbled if things don’t come out in quite the same order. It can slow down attackers and hold off long enough to build up, if it does much of anything at all. The 12/10/13/1/2/2 curve yields a highish average at 2.43, but that is boosted largely by the presence of two copies of Argentum Armor and two of Norn’s Annex. The former I hope to get through the Quest cards, and the latter I can cast for less if I pay life.
