Deck Name: Toxic Touch
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Format: Modern
Deck Type: Aggro - Mechanic-Based (Deathtouch-Poison Aggro)
Colors: Black-Green (Golgari)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Description

"Toxic Touch" is a Modern Deathtouch-Poison Aggro deck that leverages the synergy between Deathtouch creatures and Fynn, the Fangbearer to create an alternative win condition through poison counters. The deck is built for both multiplayer and 1v1 play, using evasive and aggressive creatures alongside efficient removal to control the battlefield.

The game plan revolves around Fynn, the Fangbearer, whose ability turns Deathtouch creatures into lethal threats, applying poison counters instead of normal damage. Combined with Questing Beast, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, and Vengeful Reaper, the deck maintains constant pressure on opponents while using Collected Company for explosive creature drops. Assassin’s Trophy, Fatal Push, and Abrupt Decay ensure that opposing threats are kept at bay, allowing for uninterrupted aggression.

In multiplayer formats, Toxic Touch excels at keeping opponents on edge, as every attack could push them closer to an inevitable poison-based defeat.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to Play

Early Game:
Play Fynn, the Fangbearer or Chevill, Bane of Monsters to set up early pressure.
Use Fatal Push or Deadly Allure to eliminate key early threats.
Deploy Vengeful Reaper for surprise attacks with flash and deathtouch.

Mid-Game:
Use Questing Beast and Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire to accelerate pressure and fetch key pieces.
Collected Company enables surprise board presence, making defense difficult for opponents.
Control large threats with Assassin’s Trophy and Abrupt Decay.

Late Game:
If Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider is on the field, poison counters apply at double the speed, hastening an opponent’s defeat.
Use Call of the Death-Dweller to revive key Deathtouch creatures and extend your threat presence.
If the game stalls, finish with a well-timed Tainted Strike on a large attacker for a one-shot poison victory.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How the Deathtouch-Poison Aggro Works

Set Up Defense & Aggression:
Establish Deathtouch creatures early, ensuring that every attack is a potential game-ending threat.
Utilize Fynn, the Fangbearer to apply two poison counters per hit instead of normal damage.

Control and Apply Pressure:
Use Varragoth, Bloodsky Sire to tutor Collected Company or Call of the Death-Dweller for explosive plays.
Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider doubles poison counters, turning small attacks into rapid victories.

End the Game:
Once opponents have accumulated 8-10 poison counters, a final attack with Deathtouch creatures seals their fate.
Tainted Strike on an unblocked large creature can lead to an instant kill.

The deck's low mana curve and high creature efficiency make it difficult to stop, ensuring consistent pressure and a poison-fueled victory.

Sideboard Strategy

Against Aggro Decks:
Plague Engineer: Destroys small tribal-based threats like Elves or Goblins.
Collective Brutality: Provides removal, discard, and lifegain in one spell.

Against Control Decks:
Duress & Thoughtseize: Disrupts key counterspells and board wipes.
Teferi’s Veil: Helps protect creatures from untimely removal.

Against Combo Decks:
Null Rod: Stops artifact-based combos like Urza decks.
Leyline of the Void: Prevents graveyard abuse from decks like Dredge or Storm.

Against Artifact/Enchantment Strategies:
Disenchant: Removes problematic permanents.
March of Otherworldly Light: Flexible answer for various threats.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Skill Level & Playability

"Toxic Touch" is designed for aggressive players who enjoy tactical combat and controlling the pace of battle. Mastering attack sequencing and understanding when to apply pressure is key to executing a poison-based win efficiently.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate
Playstyle: Fast-paced aggro with poison-counter alternative win condition
Best For: Multiplayer and 1v1 Modern formats
