Notes

Deck Name: Oak of Vitality
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Format: Casual/Legacy
Deck Type: Combo-Midrange
Colors: GW (Green-White) with a splash of Black (Indatha Triome)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Description:

Oak of Vitality blends lifegain, +1/+1 counters, and token generation to overwhelm opponents. Its core strategy revolves around explosive combos with Scurry Oak paired with Heliod, Sun-Crowned, Cleric Class, and Conclave Mentor.

You can either swarm the board with an army of Squirrels or grow massive creatures that dominate the battlefield. Lifegain mechanics sustain the deck’s resilience, making it effective against aggro and burn strategies.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to Play:

Early Game:
Deploy Soul Warden or Prosperous Innkeeper early for consistent lifegain.
Use Luminarch Aspirant and Conclave Mentor to start building pressure with +1/+1 counters.
Set up mana fixing with Temple of Plenty and Indatha Triome.

Mid Game:
Aim to assemble key combo pieces: Scurry Oak + Cleric Class (Level 2) or Heliod.
Deploy Ajani, the Greathearted for both ramping counters and lifegain synergy.
Protect your board with Heroic Intervention if needed.

Late Game:
Toski, Bearer of Secrets helps refill your hand if the game drags.
Activate Felidar Retreat for additional tokens and board presence.
If combo pieces are disrupted, rely on tall threats like Voice of the Blessed or a swarm of Squirrels to close the game.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------How the Combo Works

The core combo involves Scurry Oak triggering infinite Squirrel tokens through lifegain loops:

Scurry Oak + Cleric Class (Level 2) + Soul Warden: Every time you gain life, Scurry Oak gets a +1/+1 counter, creating a Squirrel. Each Squirrel triggers Soul Warden again, restarting the loop.

With Chatterfang, Squirrel General, every token created results in even more Squirrels due to its replacement effect.

Heliod, Sun-Crowned can substitute Cleric Class in the combo, adding lifegain triggers through lifelink.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sideboard Strategy:

Against Aggro: +2 Voice of the Blessed, +2 Heroic Intervention (swap out slower cards like Felidar Retreat).

Against Combo: +3 Damping Sphere, +2 Archon of Emeria to disrupt spell-heavy strategies.

Against Graveyard Decks: +3 Rest in Peace to shut down reanimation or dredge decks.

Against Control: +3 Path to Exile for efficient removal, focusing on their key threats.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Skill Level and Playability:

Oak of Vitality is ideal for players who enjoy explosive combo mechanics paired with strategic board development. Managing lifegain triggers and sequencing plays to achieve critical mass requires foresight, while knowing when to shift from defense to an all-out token swarm adds dynamic gameplay depth.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Playstyle: Combo-oriented midrange with strong token synergy and lifegain loops
Best For: Both 1v1 duels and multiplayer environments where board presence matters
