Notes

2015/Mar/16 Monday Night Legacy Report:
Match 1: Esper Deathblade (0-1-1)
Game 1: I won the die roll but mulled to 5. I made a terrible turn 2 play error: my opponent had 2 lands in play, a fetch in the yard, and a Deathrite Shaman. He led off with a Thoughtseize as I had a Swords to Plowshares and a Spell Snare in hand (along with other pieces of permission). I responded by playing Swords on his Deathrite (which I shouldn't have done) and instead saving the Swords or Spell Snare for his incoming Stoneforge Mystic. Despite the mull to 5, numerous terrible plays, and not seeing a Jace, Brainstorm, Preordain, or Dig Through Time for literally 20 turns, the deck managed to go pretty far. Elspeth ultimated and ticked back up to 6 by which point he was able to get a True Name with Batterskull and Jitte online. I ran out of answers and gas. There wasn't time for a game 2 so we talked about our decks.

Match 2: Enchantress (1-2-0).
Game 1: Crushed by RIP/Helm.
Game 2: A timely Engineered Explosives did the trick as Jace ticked up and ultimated. Post-ultimate, continuous Engineered Explosives locked him out of ever playing a single card.
Game 3: Lost.
