Notes

Main Deck

Disciple of the Vault
Once a member of a dynamic duo so fearsome it was banned from Standard.  Now Arcbound Ravager won't even invite him to the party. The Disciple still has a deceptively potent ability for only 1 mana. In the current Modern setting, with Electrolyze running rampant, 1cc 1/1's either mana ramp or lend a game ending assist the turn they enter play. Disciple usually needs to stick around for more than a turn to be effective making him a huge target. If the Disciple does stick around, oh baby, prepare to be impressed by it all over again.

Etherium Sculptor
Sculptor is another one of those cards that is just a future card printing or two away from "being a thing". Reducing the cost of your artifacts by 1 seems pretty harmless, but with enough low cc card drawing artifacts you can suddenly peel through your whole deck in no time. Stacking out multiple Sculptors can make things pretty nutty.

Trinket Mage
Trinket Mage is a great way to tutor up the various "Silver Bullet" artifacts in the decks or to just find a card drawer to continue a chain. If you are running Darksteel Citadel you can make sure you hit 4 mana too.

Chromatic Star/Chromatic Sphere
The Chromatics are great at fixing colors in the budget mana base and drawing more cards. Star is especially nice since it draws you the card anytime it goes to the Graveyard.

Pyrite Spellbomb/Nihil Spellbomb
More 1cc artifacts with the ability to draw cards. The Pyrite being a colorless Shock is pretty handy. Sometimes it's hard to tell when to use it to draw and when to save it to shoot with. Spellbomb provides maindeck graveyard hate that only hits one player and still draws a card. Relic of Progenitus accomplishes the same goal, but I didn't like that it Exiles itself and wipes out both yards.

Engineered Explosives/Grafdigger's Cage/Elixir of Immortality
The Swiss Army Knife package. Whether you need to hate on Aggro, Gravebased Combo or even milling strategies, each of these cards provides great value if used properly.ttp://puremtgo.com/articles/modern-perspective-7-i-mishra-already-i-mishra-always
