Nemesis of Mortals - I needed 3 more cards for my sideboard and really there was nothing I was thinking I needed. At first it was 2 Disciples of Nylea and a Nylea's Presence but then I thought how funny it would be to play Tom and after he sideboarded out his removal just beat him down with the Nemesis. But yeah, it doesnt really fit the deck.Stymied Hopes - I have only tried it a couple times and have yet to see it. I had the same thougts as you and figured I would board them in game 2 or 3 if on the play.As far as opposition to the deck, race is deffinetely the key. I think I have enough ways to find the pieces needed that if the game goes long I am not as concerned as a few creatures on the board turn 3.

    Last
    deck to comment on.

    Hexproof.
I read an article by some pro-tour guy complaining about hexproof and how he
thought it was one of the worst magic abilities ever made. I didn’t understand
it at the time but I sure understand it now. Nothing beats not being able to
interact with your opponent. Just watching them do whatever they want is disheartening.

    Kudos
to Alex for seeing this deck possibility right at the start of M14. I know I
overlooked how good it could be. Of course none of us new that Aqueous form
would be a card, or just how powerful the ordeals would be.

    I
feel that without aqueous form this deck struggles because it has to make sure
it’s creatures don’t die in combat. Alex obviously realized this and that is why
it’s full of ways to alleviate that worry. Commune, disperse, voyages end,
feral invocation. All of these cards serve as a backup for when Aqueous doesn’t
    show up.

    This
deck is one of those rare decks that only exists because of the vacuum of
league. In our past league sets we had ways to deal with hexproof, our next
league will likely have ways of stopping it as well. But currently there is
nothing short of counterspells, discard, or Anger of the gods all of which are
very situational and don’t always spell victory just because you drew one.

    I
think one of the only things you can do when facing this deck is just decide to
race it. It’s a difficult proposition considering all of your removal is
blanked and your creatures will be unsommoned more than once.

    I
can’t offer up any critiques of the deck because if you were going to build a
UG hexproof deck this would be it.

Yeah, when will Tom explain that illegal sideboard thing.

Seriously though, what is the point of Nemesis in the sideboard? It seems like an odd fit for this deck. Is it just to be able to go big if the game drags out? Also big fan of the stymied hopes and have been thinking about boarding them in when on the play, how have they worked for you?

Good catch. Now that was an illegal sideboard Tom, why didn't you jump me over that like you did to Bill over his NOT illegal sideboard.

Nemesis of Reason?! Wow, no wonder you won.
