Notes

DDFT: Doomsday-Fetchland Tendrils, or DDFT, is complex variant of storm named after the card Doomsday. The purpose of the deck is to resolve a Doomsday, then win off of the fact that you just got to cheat at magic and stack your deck. Typically, following the Doomsday will be a draw spell or a Sensei's Divining Top flip, which draws you into Ideas Unbound, Meditate, or Cruel Bargain, which draws most or all of the other 4 cards in the pile (commonly referred to as a Doomsday pile). The bottom of the pile is generally a Tendrils, or a Burning Wish to fetch it. While slower than most other storm decks, its power is in the fact that you get to tutor for 5 cards, meaning that you can build protection into your 5 cards - a Duress to play around Stifle, a Chain of Vapor to bounce a Leyline of Sanctity, or a Slaughter Pact to kill a Thalia. The deck can also play around lifegain by building multi-card engines into a Doomsday pile. Utilizing multiple Doomsdays, multiple Sensei’s Divining Tops, or a Burning Wish > Time Spiral, upwards of 20 storm can be achieved if need be.
