Knuttypoo | 07-Nov-2019 14:47A regular Plains would be better than that Shefet Dunes, unless I'm missing something. Especially if you're running anything that cares about Plains.

justintryon | 07-Nov-2019 15:25A worthy consideration. I believe the Shef Dunes can sac itself to give my creatures +1/+1, and really that was the only consideration for playing it. I hope I never find myself at 1 life needing to tap it for white mana...? I did add Armored Ascension to the deck over the weekend mostly because of the power/toughness boost, not because it gives flying. There's only 4 creatures in the deck that DON'T have flying, but the potential of 22 Plains.

Obviously with the release of M20 (can you believe you and I once opened a booster box of Tenth Edition!) there will be some new cards, especially Sephara. Maybe I can sell Iona to pay for Sephara?
