User Bio
I spend much more time collecting than I do playing these days, and I mainly only follow EDH. I'm trading mostly to enable myself to build more EDH decks and maybe Modern.
I started playing Magic in 2002 or so, and took a break from collecting from Lorwyn through Return to Ravnica. I've been pretty steadily buying cards again since Theros.
I've completed hundreds of trades on the Magic Online Trading League (if you also trade there, you should totally mention that).
My MOTL refs: http://refs.magictraders.com/Mibu's_Wolf.html
Rules are simple:
1) Let's be respectful and honest!
2) Use toploaders when shipping anything
3) If you're local to the Twin Cities I'm always willing to meet in person at a game store!
4) I mass-added a very large collection, so spent less time on checking conditions. I always double-check condition before finalizing a deal, and I'm happy to email you images of any of my cards!
I try not to trade eternal staples and older cards down for Standard whenever possible. There may be exceptions on rare occasions.
A note about me and artist signatures: I consider them to add value, unlike many traders. I won't be asking for anything crazy like double value, but in my view, an artist signature on my cards does add a significant amount of value. If you disagree, that's fine; I'm more than happy to keep them in my collection or wait to trade with someone who shares my view. This is in large part because all of my signed stuff was gotten directly through the artist, so I know they're legit.
I list certain signed cards for trade that I will only trade for unsigned versions of the same card plus extra consideration for the signature (which, again, I see as adding value). I otherwise will not trade these as they are generally playstock.
My Magic claim to fame: I named Crucible of Worlds in the You Make the Card 2 event.
