Honestly I really just like the interaction with darkblast and the 4of treasure cruise. That seems like the Dirts McGurk. I feel swiftspear has potential to be a monster, but am just trying to find the right shell. Also, this setup is actually cheaper based on what I have than getting the full set of snappos and going back into UR. I'ma test both and see which I like more/which seems stronger. I'm sure UR will put up more results, but this seems like fun.

Yeah that makes sense. It definitely seems interesting but I must wondering if splashing black for the discard spells is actually better than keeping it UR and having access to countermagic. But I guess I see where swiftspear and counters don't play as nice with each other.

Think the guy said he has a lot of BGx and Lingering souls floating around. that might be the majority of the reasoning there. Looks like its geared towards burn, tron, lili for boggles? dont really get the purpose of the spray or cage either... I guess pod, but that should be a fine matchup for this list especially with 2 pillars in the main. Meh. I still have to get my hands on some more snappys and seizes to put this together, been torn between this and just a more standard UR delver without swiftspears. I just feel the spears aren't exactly bomby in a control shell. Like waste not, it sets up for some really imperfect lines.

Either that or elves haha. That sideboard seems like it's set up for a pretty budget meta, lots of burn and tokens strategies as well as what looks like good cards against tron, especially the blue white re animator version. The board could definitely do for some tweaking.

you're probably right. I actually just ripped the list off of reddit and intended on tweaking. With the curve as it stands though, it is set up to optimize swiftspear as far as I can tell. Trickery was the one I was questioning myself though, I'm not even sure what it's tech for... the mirror, maybe?

Is electrickery really better than electrolyze in a deck like this?
