    btw who is your general?
    • William Cahill-Manley | 28-Sep-2013 10:18
Trostani is my general, though I have expiremented with Rhys.

Rust and Bind seem pretty ok.
Regarding the lands, I wouldn't use the Urza Lands, because they give colorless mana, and Gargoyle Caste doesen't really seem to be wort it. Instead a reliquary tower, to be able to hold more then 7 cards in hand is totally worth it. Also rogue's passage. I would add secluded steppe and tranquil ticket for a possible lategame card advantage

secluded steppe and tranquil thicket both seem like nice additions, especially late game, even more so if I have wheel of sun and moon out.

Looked through some lands, here are some that caught my eye:

    Edit: Added to sideboard instead.

That sounds like a great way to start improving the deck, any imediate suggestions? I have not used very many non basic lands at all. I had heard once that certain dual lands count as basic lands, but was never able to find this within the comprehensive rules, Any idea there? if not I suppose I could start with picking up some shock lands etc.
  • Sándor Gábor - Álmos | 27-Sep-2013 20:11
Regarding the land base, have you considered running some dual lands or lands with some abilities?
  • William Cahill-Manley | 27-Sep-2013 15:17
Well ratchet bomb is the least of my worries in that regard. In my playgroup, no one runs ratchet bomb that I know of, and even if they did, anihilator is a bigger worry really. Plus if im lucky enough to have out Eldrazi Monument then its no big deal. Lastly, some of my tokens usually have a cmc. (mimic vat + populate)
  • Sándor Gábor - Álmos | 27-Sep-2013 11:39
I meant that Ratchet Bomb wipes you out...
    • William Cahill-Manley | 27-Sep-2013 15:18
But if you have an idea on something that could counter ratchet bomb and is worth fitting into this deck.. sure.
    • William Cahill-Manley | 28-Sep-2013 05:32
Found Rust & Bind, which may be good ways of dealing with ratchet bomb, if lucky enough to have drawn them.
  • Sándor Gábor - Álmos | 25-Sep-2013 21:53
    What about ratchet bomb?
    • William Cahill-Manley | 26-Sep-2013 20:44
I don't much see the benefit of ratchet bomb in a token deck. Its a limited bomb at best, takes too long to ramp up unless I'm trying to go for a low CMC or maybe no CMC which would wipe out my own tokens. I'd rather keep a artifact slot open for the memorial/monument or altars.
