While browsing through the Lost Caverns of Ixalan cards I found Adaptive Gemguard. I already had seen a similar deck idea and wanted to see what I would/ could come up with. Colour-wise I've gone through four iterations, tough white was never questioned as it simply provided too many good cards with tap effects. The first version was white and blue, but that lacked aggressivity or control. The second version was white, blue and black, but still it was missing something. The last version not is white, black and reed which seems a good combination for aggressive play and control.

The name of the deck came to my mind when hearing water dripping from a spigot: Tap... Tap... Tap.
