interesting take on the deck - running without the blue cantrips along with a doomsday transformation. i had thought about this last year, but i was thinking that top might be too slow. how has your testing been?
Hey DK, this is Dela from the source. I REALLY like all the work you guys have done there. I'm just messing around here trying out builds and experimenting with them. I really want to make the SB for this deck work. I'm not sure cutting ponder and BS is the solution though, but I wanted to try this out. I was going to take this to my local legacy tourney this past Thursday but work intervened. Hopefully I'll stop by this weekend and get some testing in.
ah sweet! thanks for the Children tech - makes me kind of mad it took me so long to test it though. pretty insane! definitely interested to see how your testing plays out. with SDT main, Doomsday might actually be viable.
Hah ya! Don't tell anyone but I stumbled upon the Children tech in a game of EDH... I have a crazy life gain / life spending deck where I swap life totals, etc. I knew then that it was efficient / good enough for Legacy.
My main concern, like yours, is if the speed of the deck is slowed too much by the lack of BS & Ponder with the replacement being SDT. Testing will show.
In the near future I'll be messing with deck lists involving a transformation SB into the Sneak Attack / SnT plan possibly with burning wishes main.
I really do think there is a Tier 1 deck here waiting to be found.
