Finally got Mono Green working for me at an FNM.

Round 1 was against a novice with a tribal vampires kitchen table deck. MVP = Sword of War and Peace (sickness = Dungrove Elder suited up with Rancor and Sword... I just felt bad).

Round 2 was against mono Green infact running Wild Definace, and it was too brutally fast for me to do anything about it--this player went on to win the tournament.

Round 3 was against a Venser/Gideon control deck--game 1 he had me locked down bouncing a Stonehorn Dignitary, but released the lock and this allowed me to win with Dungrove and Thrun. Game 2 curved out sickly, and I beat face.

Round 4 was against a solid, traditional, UW Delver build--after lossing my mana dorks to Gut Shots and being out-tempoed early in the game, bonded a SIlverheart to a Dungrove suited up with Rancor and miracled Revenge of the Hunted FTW in game 1, and a quick start (plus no vapor snags for my opponent) made game 2 pretty quick.

Felt good about this build, but should probably have had Melira in the sideboard since I know infect gets played here (though the winning deck was so fast, I doubt it would have made a difference, although 4 Green Sun's might have allowed me to get her out early). It might have been good to take the Acidic Slime out of the main deck, but I don't think it hindered me too much.

Although I didn't go up against it, mono Black control and aggro builds were all over the place (one finished second, I believe).

Good top four finish. A one of Melira in the SB would be good. Like I mentioned I like Ground Seal over Grafdigger's Cage. It's up for debate still, but I like Crushing Vines over Eaten by Spiders.
