    I gotta say: I REALLY like the idea behind this deck. The main things I gotta say is:


    1: Take Ball Lightnings/ Hell's Thunders/ Hellsparks for normal burns (Lava Spike Chain, Price of Progress, etc). either that, or something else 4/5 mana that would be on the same lines as Demigod. The thing is, you can get so much more out of the 2/3 mana you're pumping into those guys that's its not even funny. For example, you could probably get 6 damage from 2 burn spells with the mana you would pump into a Hellspark.


    The only other things would be to get rid of those Forgotten Caves and put in fetches. Since this is a burn deck through and through, the risk of top-decking a land you don't need is a risk you can't take. that and the Everlasting Torment doesn't seem to do too much.  You'd be better off with another Demigod.


    Anways, really interesting idea here. I'd like to see what you do with it. :)

      I must disagree with your advise on ball lighting and it's lesser compansions; few cards are as efficient at racing to twenty as they are. The constraints are not ones of mana but time and cards. Two lighting bolt equivelents  might cost less mana, but that's two spells. In comparison, I might spend two mana on the hellspark, and then unearth it again for another two mana, yeilding six damage from the single card. In addition, I might then cast another spell, perhaps the sugested Price of Progress, which I would gladly, gladly, use, if it would yeild me more than 2-4 damage in my play enviroment (rather on the poor side of non-basics).


      If I was willing to pay the price for the fetchlands, I'd also run them in-lie of the forgotten caves, but for now they are perfectly functional for dodging those extra lands.


      A lot of people comment on  the lone everlasting torment mainboarded. All I can say is that I never got around to buying a fourth demigod, and I put it in to finish the deck. I kept it in, sometimes i'd toss in a second, because of the plethora of pro-red in the enviroment. Also, the wither proved to be rather effective evasion for the ground-pounders. However, since the invention of the leyline of punishment, it's harder to justify my beloved ol' everlasting torment. I suppose I should fork over five goddamn dollars for another demigod.
