Actually Harsh Sustenance is probably better than either and is what TheMaverickGirl is using these days (though hadn't got around to putting it in the above list)

Not everyone believes in this land strategy. Here's an example build where you ditch the Land Grants, put in an Island, and put in some Sylvan Rangers:

Elvish Guidance seems interesting as a 1x or 2x. It's so easy to remove an elf but it's not normally easy to remove a land.
