I like the concept, but how well does this work in practice? Do your ascendants ever get to their full potential? Your baneslayer and the ascendants themselves are the only things that help you gain life, so I can't imagine you find yourself over 30 too often. Still a cool deck though :) I like using the discards and doom blades to help out Lilliana's -8.
